Helping experienced business owners make decisions that fit — through pattern recognition, Human Design, and strategic clarity.
Most advisors will hand you a better strategy. Kristen helps you figure out why the last one didn't work.
They're decision-making problems. And that's exactly where Kristen works.
By the time most clients find Sol Compass, they've already tried the strategies. They've hired the coaches, restructured the offers, optimized the systems. What they haven't done is look at the layer underneath — the place where decisions actually get made. The beliefs, habits, and patterns that determine what they say yes to, what they hold onto, and why they keep ending up in the same place despite doing all the right things.
That's where Kristen works. Not on your tactics. On your decision-making. She listens for what's driving your choices beneath the surface — the fear masquerading as strategy, the overcommitment disguised as ambition, the self-doubt dressed up as perfectionism. She reflects back what she's seeing, helps you name the pattern, and works with you to make a different choice — one that's grounded in how you actually operate, not how you think you should.
The work draws on Human Design as a diagnostic lens, the Full Focus system for strategic direction, and GUMPTION — an embodied clarity practice that helps you access what you already know beneath the noise of overthinking. No single tool is the answer. The goal isn't a better framework to follow. It's helping you trust the one you already carry.

Kristen didn't set out to become a business coach. She wanted to be a doctor — until time spent in emergency rooms and radiology departments made it clear that the direction healthcare was heading wasn't where she wanted to go. She wanted to genuinely connect with people. Physical therapy was the right fit.
She spent more than 20 years in outpatient orthopedics and vestibular rehabilitation. What she learned wasn't just anatomy, it was:
Then came the burnout — though it took a while to name it. She'd been working in a building with a serious mold problem and had been chalking up the daily exhaustion to ‘adulting’. It wasn't that. Recovering through functional, root-cause medicine reshaped the way she thought about everything. Symptoms aren't the problem. They're information. The real question is always: what's actually driving this?
She relocated, changed to a PT-driven wellness clinic, but it lacked training on behavioral change. That prompted her to go to health coaching school on her own, more work burnout, since standard was 3 pt per hour, and selling complimentary services. And for many of my clients, it’s this path of self discovery that allows kristen to identify with the path her clients are on. Work, change, enlighten, then realize what living my design means…. That’s when i found the joy i wanted. I had the systems, what i needed was the design, that’s when i found the clients that i worked best with and i thrived.
Kristen spent years trying to hold to her values and practice with integrity inside a system that kept making it more difficult. Eventually, the decision was made for her. The environment had been draining her for some time — she'd known it, and she'd been ignoring it. When the job ended, she recognized the change for what it was: the right exit at the right time.
Her first instinct was to accelerate: certifications, a new website, networking events, and health coaching clients. She kept trying to build something that looked like what a business was supposed to look like — without ever pausing to check whether it was what she actually wanted.
What finally shifted wasn't a new strategy. It was a pause. Space to reconnect with what she already knew to be true. When she stopped overriding her own inner knowing, something loosened. Clarity came. She shifted direction and the right clients started finding her. Business started to feel fun again.
As she started working with these new clients, the same pattern she'd spent 20 years reading in bodies had started showing up in businesses. Capable people overriding their own signals. Pushing through when they should pause. Following someone else's protocol while their own instincts pointed somewhere different. The context had changed. The pattern was identical.
Sol Compass grew from that recognition.

Kristen speaks on decision-making, Human Design for business, self-trust in leadership, and the patterns that keep capable entrepreneurs stuck. If you're looking for a speaker who can shift the energy in a room and leave people with something they can actually use, let's talk.

I'm a 2/4 Emotional Manifesting Generator — which means I'm someone who needs time to let clarity settle before I commit, and who does her best work in relationship. That's not a coincidence. It shapes everything about how I work with clients.
My husband Greg and I are the bridesmaid-and-groomsman cliché. Travel has always been at the foundation of our relationship. We started long-distance, and that spirit of adventure never left — we've now been to six of the seven continents together (Antarctica, we're coming for you) and continue to travel with Greg's work.
In December 2019, we sold our home and hit the road full-time. Then 2020 happened. What could have been chaos turned out to be exactly the pause I needed — time to slow down, stop pushing, and reconnect with myself. That year quietly changed everything.
And if you ever want to win me over immediately: ask me about my nieces and nephews in Buffalo (Go Bills!) and Boston. Being an aunt is genuinely one of the best things in my life.

"Kristen Toscano was exactly what our Sisterhood Soiree needed — especially after the lunch hustle. Her GUMPTION warm-up wasn't just an activity — it was a reset for the soul. She's warm, wise, and incredibly gifted at helping women return to themselves." — Jill Celeste, Founder, Virtual Networkers
"She explained things in a way that I, as a beginner, could understand and gave practical examples so I could absorb the information. I recommend Kristen fully if you're looking for someone who has a wealth of experience but teaches in a way that a novice can understand." — Ann Hooper
"Human Design is complicated, but Kristen can explain it in a way that even I can grasp. I cannot recommend her highly enough." — Liz Pecoraro-Snyder
My approach to business advisory work has been shaped by my own journey as an entrepreneur. When I started my business, I was coming out of the healthcare system with no real business experience. I didn't know what to focus on first, so I spent a lot of time caught in shiny strategy syndrome — following what other people said worked for them and chasing the next thing that was supposed to help me grow my business.
I got caught up in FOMO and invested in more books, coaching, courses, and strategies. With every new thing I learned, I became more overwhelmed by all the possibilities and more frustrated trying to apply strategies exactly as they had been taught.
What finally shifted wasn't finding the perfect strategy. It was slowing down enough to understand myself, how I know what's right for me, and how to align a strategy with the way I naturally operate. Business still has challenges because business is always an experiment, but the heaviness changed. I became clearer about where to focus my time and energy and more confident in the decisions I was making.
That experience now shapes the way I work with clients. I understand what it's like to feel pulled in a hundred directions and to wonder whether the answer is outside of you. My work helps clients reconnect with themselves so the choices they make feel more aligned, sustainable, and true for them.
Physical therapy taught me that there are often things influencing us that aren't immediately visible when we focus only on symptoms. What we're experiencing on the surface isn't always the full story. My work in the PT setting taught me to get curious and look for what else might be contributing. In my work today, that often means noticing the patterns influencing decisions, behaviors, and the subtle ways we override ourselves.
I also spent years helping people pay attention to what their bodies were communicating. I came to see that while the mind is valuable for exploring possibilities and understanding information, clarity doesn't come from thinking harder. Much of my work now includes helping clients reconnect with the signals and wisdom already available through their bodies so they can make decisions that feel more aligned and true for them.
I see much of the work I do now as a more proactive extension of what I did before. Instead of waiting for stress, misalignment, or constantly overriding yourself to affect your health, relationships, business, or quality of life, I help clients learn to pay attention earlier. Human Design, embodied practices, and coaching become tools to help reconnect with their own signals and recognize what feels true for them — even when the answer isn't the most obvious one.
A typical engagement is a blend of exploration, real-life application, and reflection. We often begin by understanding and experimenting with how you make decisions in real situations while noticing when fears, doubts, or "shoulds" begin influencing the process. We may also explore the elements of your Human Design that shape how you naturally operate, communicate, and show up in your business and life.
But the most important part of the work is creating the time and space to actually live what you're learning. Alignment is a practice, not something you figure out from an intellectual place alone. The real learning happens through experience — noticing what feels different, paying attention to your responses, and reflecting on what you're discovering.
Every experience becomes information that deepens self-trust and expands your embodied understanding of yourself and how you engage with the world through your life and business.
My work draws from Human Design, the Quantum Alignment System™, coaching, the GUMPTION Method, LifeFocus, and the Full Focus system. Together, these frameworks help move insights beyond awareness and into lived experience so you can build greater self-trust, gain clearer direction, reduce second-guessing, and create meaningful momentum in your life and business.
Each brings a different perspective and serves a different purpose. Human Design helps us understand how you naturally make decisions, communicate, and operate. The Quantum Alignment System™ and coaching help create awareness around the patterns influencing your choices and support the process of recognizing when fear, doubt, urgency, or old stories are driving your decisions. Through real-life experiences and reflection, you begin creating new evidence and perspectives. Over time, you learn to shift from reacting from old patterns to responding from greater awareness and self-trust.
GUMPTION helps bring awareness back into the body and create greater connection to what you're experiencing in the moment. LifeFocus provides a framework for identifying what you truly want to create in your life and business, while the Full Focus planning system offers structure and practical tools for turning insight into intentional action.
I don't believe any one framework has all the answers. The goal isn't to hand you another system that asks you to fit yourself into it. It's to give you tools that help you understand yourself deeply enough to build your own way of working — one that aligns with who you are, how you naturally operate, and what supports sustainable momentum in your life and business.
The first step is a free 45-minute Clarity Call — a working conversation to get clear on where you are, where you want to go, and what's actually standing in the way.
